3 main audiences:

sciences and humanities, economics or policy research
>

>
Transport policy-makers, at the European, national, regional levels
3 main objectives:
> The COST 340 final conference will
conclude and sum up 5 years of innovative research on intermodality and
European transport history led in the 17 COST 340 countries. It is a
unique opportunity to discuss with the COST 340 Action’s researchers the
many policy-relevant issues that arose during the numerous meetings,
reports and publications that marked COST 340.
> The conference should eventually
define future research on intermodality, stressing on current results and
prospects. It will plan a future agenda for research, with particular
reference to the development of policy for developing intermodal transport
across Europe.
> The conference will further the
already extensive dialogue promoted by the Action between transport
experts and researchers in the human and social sciences which is proving
useful for planning the future of transport across Europe.
