4e colloque / 4th Conference, Brunel University, 12 October 2016
The Channel rail link between the United Kingdom and the Continent and its related road and rail networks remain the largest international transport system ever built : it is said to have given a new shape to the geography of Europe - and a new border, built under the sea ; migrations flows took a new turn in both directions. The roundtable hosted by Brunel University in London will relate borders and migrations and help to assess the current shift we are now experiencing in European History.
